About the Program

The Industrial Engineering master's program aims to train graduates who can improve the performance of systems involving people, machines and labour in today's competitive environment. Industrial engineers contribute to sustainable success by optimising organisational resources, and develop and apply scientific methods to make production and service systems more efficient and cost-effective. They also analyse data to optimise business production processes and actively use artificial intelligence systems in these areas. Examples of specialisations include supply chain management, operations research, and production planning and control. Students graduate with the ability to model and solve complex problems in these fields.

Program: The Industrial Engineering master's program offers thesis and non-thesis (project-based) options. The thesis option requires seven courses, one seminar course and one thesis. The non-thesis option requires ten courses and one project assignment.
