About the Program
The International Relations doctoral program was established to develop national and global leaders with a strong intellectual foundation, conduct academic research that advances the discipline, and provide services benefiting stakeholders and society. It aims to develop individuals who stand out through their knowledge, capabilities and communication skills, and specialise in international relations, regional studies, political history and related subfields. Students take core and elective courses in these areas and have opportunities to meet leading academics and professionals and learn from their experience. Through their doctoral thesis, students develop their own interests and deepen their expertise in international relations, regional studies and political history.
Program: International Relations doctoral students must complete seven courses, one seminar course, a qualifying examination, a thesis proposal and one thesis.
