About the Program

The main aim of the Clinical Psychology master's program is to graduate clinical psychologists with strong theoretical knowledge, competence, proficiency and ethical awareness, and to contribute to both professional practice and academic research. Taking an eclectic approach, the program aims to give students a broad understanding of different theoretical foundations in clinical psychology. After completing theoretical training, students work with clients in on-campus consultation rooms and complete supervised training with the support of our extensive, qualified supervision team. This prepares them to provide counselling and psychotherapy within their areas of expertise. Graduates of both thesis and non-thesis options can practise as well-equipped clinical psychologists, while thesis graduates can also pursue doctoral study and an academic career alongside professional practice.

Program: The Clinical Psychology master's program offers thesis and non-thesis (project-based) options. The thesis option requires seven courses, one seminar course and one thesis. The non-thesis option requires ten courses and one project assignment.
