About the Program

The Architecture master's program primarily aims to train productive specialist architects, drawn from graduates of architecture or related research fields, who can practise internationally and gain expertise in the theoretical and practical aspects of architectural design. It seeks to develop qualified architects and designers capable of planning and conducting research and development suited to conditions in Türkiye, equipped with creative and innovative design ideas. Students are also encouraged to make original contributions to science by sharing the results of their architectural research with the academic community. Courses cover architectural theory, urban design principles and theories, computational design in architecture, and building physics design principles.

Program: The Architecture master's program offers thesis and non-thesis (project-based) options. The thesis option requires seven courses, one seminar course, one orientation course and one thesis. The non-thesis option requires ten courses, one orientation course and one project assignment.
