About the Program
Graduates develop the ability to generate knowledge, with a comparative law perspective, across civil law, the law of obligations, commercial law, civil procedure and enforcement and bankruptcy law, private international law, labour law and many other branches of private law. In particular, they learn to identify new legal problems arising in practice and gain access to the methods and resources needed to resolve them. The program aims to train qualified lawyers with advanced technical knowledge of private law and foreign language proficiency, strong skills in analysing legal issues and developing solutions, and competence in academic methods for conducting scientific research into a specific legal problem.
Program: The Private Law master's program offers thesis and non-thesis (project-based) options. The thesis option requires seven courses, one seminar course and one thesis. The non-thesis option requires ten courses and one project assignment.
