About the Program

International Taxation is the first and only graduate program in its field in Türkiye.

The program was established to meet the growing need for specialists as globalisation, accelerated by digitalisation, increasingly brings public and private sector tax practitioners into contact with international taxation issues. It aims to strengthen the knowledge, skills and experience of individuals who will contribute to international tax policy and implement new regulations in public and private sector activities.

To address the multifaceted nature of taxation, the program takes a multidisciplinary approach combining law with business administration, economics, politics and public administration. This enables graduates to understand the international tax implications of developments in Türkiye and around the world through different academic disciplines, and to gain the academic foundation needed to develop ideas and projects addressing problems in the field.

Program: The International Taxation master's program offers thesis and non-thesis options. The thesis option requires seven courses, one seminar and one master's thesis; the non-thesis option requires ten courses and one project assignment.
