The principles to be applied in the process of counting the courses (exemption) and thesis/project registrations of the candidates who enroll in the graduate programs of our university;

Students enrolled in master’s programs with thesis are exempted for a maximum of 4 courses.

Candidates applying to master’s and doctoral programs with thesis must take the seminar course from the program they have just registered.

Students enrolled in non-thesis master’s programs are exempted for a maximum of 5 courses.

Students enrolled in doctoral programs are exempted for a maximum of 4 courses.

Except for the seminar course, all the courses that the students who fail in the master’s program with thesis and enroll in the non-thesis master’s program with the same name without a break (the period of dismissal) are considered successful.

Students who are dismissed while the master’s program with thesis is in the thesis stage of our university can only take the thesis course if they re-register to the same program without a break (the period in which they were dismissed).
