1) The student who wants to transfer to the non-thesis program fills out the written petition with their academic advisor during the transition period between programs, as announced in the academic calendar, by the beginning of the 5th semester, and submits it To Head of Department
2) If the request is found appropriate by the Department, it is forwarded to the Institute from EBYS.
3) The application for transfer to the non-thesis program is decided at the EYK and the time to be given to the student who is accepted to complete the program obligations is determined by the number of courses remaining. “2” additional time is given to students who need to complete up to 4 courses and the project course.
4) The EYK decision is processed in the SIS system and the student is notified by e-mail.
Note 1: The student gets a new student number due to the program change.
Note 2: Transition between Thesis and Non-Thesis Programs is made only once during the education period.
Note 3: In terms of compatibility with the program to be transferred, the courses are adjusted according to the content, not the number of them.
**Over the list price of the applied program in the relevant academic year, 10% discount is provided per course, not exceeding 70% in total for the courses adapted.
