Dear Students,

Altınbaş University Private Law Master’s Program is designed for students who are equipped with a strong education in all areas of private law, who can reflect the knowledge and sense of justice they have acquired in all kinds of legal relations, and who will lead the development of the legal literature by contributing to the legal literature at the national and international level in the dimensions of teaching, scientific research, publication and activity. It is designed to train competent lawyers with ethical values.

Especially in recent years, due to the changes in many fundamental laws and comprehensive reform movements, the field of private law is an area where the need for academic research is strongly felt. Students and graduates of the Private Law Master’s Program will not only serve the academy, but will also direct the implementation of our new laws in their professional lives.

The program has Thesis and Non-Thesis (with project) sections. The courses included in the program are shaped within a broad framework to enable students to gain a practical perspective on current issues in the field of private law. Courses are given by faculty members who are experts in their fields and are members of the academic staff of our Faculty of Law.

The courses given within the scope of the program not only provide theoretical depth but also provide technical equipment regarding many current legal problems. Particularly with the seminar assignments given to students, on the one hand, skills in academic research and writing methods are provided, while on the other hand, current court precedents and Supreme Court decisions are examined and analyzed, thus contributing to practice.

While those who successfully complete the program gain in-depth knowledge on certain subjects in the professional field, graduates of the thesis program also have the opportunity to pursue an academic career at Altınbaş University and other universities.

Altınbaş University Private Law PhD Program is designed to provide students who will receive this education with the skills necessary to conduct independent research in the field of law, to interpret, analyze and reach new syntheses by examining scientific problems and data from a broad and deep perspective. With this aim, our primary goal is to train academics who will work in the field of private law, to conduct national and international research, to produce publications, and to graduate students who will contribute to the quality of legal science in our country.
