ORTHODONTICS PhD PROGRAM
The purpose of the orthodontic PhD program; To train an inquiring and researcher orthodontist who has the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes about the diagnosis and treatment of patients with dental alignment, occlusion, skeletal structures of the jaws and temporomandibular joint musculoskeletal system, who follows the current developments in the field on national and international platforms. In addition to theoretical and practical orthodontic courses, the program also includes practical and theoretical courses from basic sciences and clinical departments, contributing to the training of orthodontists who can evaluate and question cases from a wider perspective and produce new solutions. Orthodontic education, where current treatment approaches are presented in a wide range, will set an example for our students to follow innovations in their professional lives and to adopt science and technology-based treatments. Our ultimate goal is to educate orthodontists who adopt the concept of lifelong learning, follow current literature and innovations, respect ethical values, have a broad vision, and can provide continuous professional development.
Training Place: Bakırköy Campus.
Training Hours: It takes place between 9.00 – 17.00 on weekdays.
Education Language: Orthodontics PhD Program is offered in Turkish.
Program: Orthodontics PhD Program; consists of the doctoral course phase, the doctoral qualifying examination and the doctoral thesis phase.
