Principles to be Applied in Transition Between Thesis and Non-Thesis Programs;

Transition between Thesis and Non-Thesis Programs is made only once during the education period.

In case of transition from the program with thesis to the programs without thesis; Students apply to the Graduate School within the transition period between programs announced in the academic calendar at the beginning of the 5th semester at the latest. The time to be given to the student whose application for transition to the non-thesis program is accepted to complete the program obligations is determined by the number of courses remaining. “2” additional time is given to students who need to complete up to 4 courses and the project course.

In case of transition from non-thesis program to programs with thesis; Students apply to the Graduate School within the transition period between programs announced in the academic calendar at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the latest. The student whose application for transfer to the program with thesis is accepted is given additional time, not exceeding 6 semesters, including the time spent in the program without thesis.
