Dear Students,

Mechanical engineering is one of the most established and comprehensive engineering branches in the world. Mechanical engineers deal with the design, development and control of mechanical/electromechanical/thermal and production systems. Mechanical engineers work in product and system development in a wide technological spectrum ranging from the automotive industry to biomedical technologies, from the manufacturing industry to the energy production sector, from aviation to the ship industry, heating/ventilation systems, from smart material technology to industrial and home automation.

The aim of our Mechanical Engineering Department, which provides master’s degree education within the Altınbaş University Graduate Education Institute, is to provide expert level training to mechanical engineers working in this wide range, to train qualified R&D personnel who have the competencies in designing and implementing applied research and development studies in the discipline of mechanical engineering; We can state that our aim is to ensure that these staff are equipped with creative and innovative ideas for industrial applications and to make original contributions to science by sharing the results of the scientific research carried out by our students within the discipline of mechanical engineering with the scientific world.

In this context, we offer a flexible education program structure in our master’s program where our students can improve themselves in the field they want. In addition to the basic compulsory courses, our students take elective courses appropriate to their interests and fields of study, gaining in-depth knowledge and application skills at the expert level.

Our Department of Mechanical Engineering consists of experienced faculty members who have worked in different universities with many years of education and teaching experience, as well as young and dynamic faculty members who are experts in their fields. Therefore, by combining experience and dynamism, we create a scientific environment suitable for education and research for our students.

In conclusion; We offer students who choose our program to the service of our country by educating them to have superior scientific qualifications to meet the needs of both industry and academia. We welcome engineers who have this goal to join us in our Mechanical Engineering Master’s Program.
